Slimy and Red

Posted by
Nitin (Mayenne, France) on 10 February 2011 in Food & Cuisine.

"Shanghai (and China) Diary - Nanjing"

These little red slimy things were all over in Nanjing, and I later realised, in Shanghai too. It looked too sugary for my taste and unfortunately (or fortunately) I did not try them.

These sugar coated haws, or natively called, Bing Tang Hu Lu, seemed like red sugar kababs to me :P

Even your signature works perfectly with this incredible capture. The taste may have
been too Chinese in its oddness for me, but they make exquisite subjects of art.
