Cool Docks

"When a man is tired of London, he is tired of life; for there is in London all that life can afford."

Magnificent view of the St Paul's cathedral, several docks, the new bridge, the North Bank and the Shard (an ugly building designed by Renzo Piano) as viewed from the South Bank in London. For us this was one of the rare sunny days - how I wish we had more of these days.

The South Bank is an area of Central London, England, located immediately adjacent to the southern bank of the River Thames opposite the City of Westminster. It forms a long and narrow section of riverside development within the London Borough of Lambeth and the London Borough of Southwark where it joins Bankside. The pedestrian embankment is the Queen's Walk. (Wikipedia)
